God is with us
Ouside our bedroom window in the distance are two crosses. There is a big red cross and a beautiful white one further away. I know these crosses are signs to me that God is with us everyday. This process of moving to Seoul has been difficult. An extreme emotional roller coaster for months in preparation. Though difficult, my comfort was in knowing that Christ has been right beside me. Christ has been guiding me every step throughout my life and his guidance is evidently clear here in Seoul. Today was a rough day! Homesickness is starting to set in. I am missing my wonderful church, friends, family, empty parks, my car (even my mini-van), shopping in english, and so much more. However, I am learning and growing in Christ's love everyday we are in Seoul. God blessed our family tremendously in Bloomington. We had a wonderful church family and many close friends. However, I am using this time to draw strength from the Lord. He is all I need. A wise friend of mine once said, "Don't go looking for ECC in Seoul, you won't find it, look for where God wants you to be." God wants us in Seoul and I know He will be faithful to help us find a supportive church family. I realize that feeling sad is inevitable when leaving people and places you love. I am having a wonderful time experiencing a new culture and seeing that God truly is "Everywhere"...
