A New Life in South Korea
Sunday was a turning point for our family. We visited Seoul International Baptist Church. The church focuses on reaching the expat community. It is a Southern Baptist Church, which is great because Robert and I grew up Southern Baptist. We definately had a God moment. Our friends the Kelso's told us about missionary's they knew in Seoul, and that we should contact them. We never got the contact information. God lead us to the missionary's at SIBC on Sunday. Anne and Joe Lovell. They have a 9th grade girl who is now babysitting on Monday nights, and Allie a 7 year old. The best part is they live a 5 minute walk from our house. Robby will be attending school with Allie. We have hung out with them several times since Sunday. God is good!!! I am thrilled to have met the Lovell's and look forward to meeting others God leads our way. Today we had Korean friends from ECC visit our apartment. Inae, Sunghoon, and Junghoon came over to visit. They introduced us to edible "Korean" chineese food. We had a great visit. I know that God is with us in this big city. He continues to lead people in our path to make our transition smooth. Robert has a friend E.C. that he met in Bloomington during his undergrad work. E.C. has been helping us since the first day we arrived in Seoul. Thank you E.C for all your time and work. Of course, it helps to know that so many of our friends and family are praying for our transition. It also encourages me when I read your comments, via facebook, blog, and e-mail. I know that God is listening to your prayers. I miss you all!!!

Crystal,
I'm so glad you found a church! And friends! I'm thrilled InAe and the boys were able to come by for a visit too. I haven't had much contact with her while they've been over there so I really miss her. It's great to hear that things are going much better! Keep us updated!
Crystal, Your comments are very kind. I know it is a "God thing" that we met. We're looking forward to getting to know you better!
Oh that is such awesome news! I am so excited to hear how God is providing so healthily for you and blessing your socks off in Korea!
Hi Crystal,
I'm enjoying catching up with you via your blog, and I'm glad that you are adapting well to life there. I'm sure that it has been a HUGE change, but that so many adventures await. Your boys look like they are doing great and are soaking it all up. I'm happy that you are having such a wonderful life experience. Take care! - Kathleen
