Welcome To Crystal's Blog

It is my prayer that God will use my writings to bless you today. I write straight from the heart. I write as a venue to praise God, and grow as a woman. I am a woman saved by grace! I am married to the most amazing man, and I have been blessed with four beautiful children. God uses my family to teach me and subsequently increases my faith in Him. At times I write through tears of joy, and at times tears of sorrow. Join me as I honestly share my heart and give God praise for His love!

One week down, 200 more to go!!!

Last night we have lived in Seoul one week. I feel farely confident that we have learned a lot. We have visited two different Costco's four different times, traveled via subway, taxi, and Frasier Suites bus. Learned that all Korean's know the words "free interpreter", just say the words and they call an interpretation line. (Very helpful - Except when the interpreter can't understand you). I can say at least 5 Korean words! I have learned that if I hold Daniel's chubby hands others can not. The best part is I think I may actually be enjoying this new adventure. (Don't tell Robert I said that - I won't have anything to hold over his head) I handle the staring by thinking I am a celebrity and everyone wants to be "Me"... Sorry - It helps!!! Slowly but surely I am gaining comfort in a BIG city. I can't wait for my belongings to get off of the ocean and into my house. ( I miss my scrapbooking) In Seoul there is absoulutely no way to be bored. There is always something new to do. Every corner is a new opportunity!!! I miss my home in Bloomington --- God willing we will be back in the future. My church family holds a huge place in my heart. ECC was the best!!! I pray we find a church in Seoul with the hospitality and serventhood that is the heart of ECC. I am trying to focus on all the adventures and witness opportunities that lay ahead of us in Seoul. God is good all the time and everywhere!!!
