Welcome To Crystal's Blog

It is my prayer that God will use my writings to bless you today. I write straight from the heart. I write as a venue to praise God, and grow as a woman. I am a woman saved by grace! I am married to the most amazing man, and I have been blessed with four beautiful children. God uses my family to teach me and subsequently increases my faith in Him. At times I write through tears of joy, and at times tears of sorrow. Join me as I honestly share my heart and give God praise for His love!

Just When I Think I've Got It Figured Out!!!

Disaster 101

Poor Christopher has been bored like crazy!!! It has been too hot to play outside and he is going stir crazy. Not to mention making me stir crazy at the same time. I decided to venture out and take a cab to the nearest YMCA. (Which is apparently only 5 minutes away). The cab driver kept driving and driving. I knew he was going too far and I tried to tell him. I said "free interpreter" he kept driving. I tried to call the "free interpreter" number and there was no answer. The meter was telling me we've gone too far. The cab driver finally points to a building that says YMCA. I called my friend Kim and she told me I was at the wrong place. I had to ask the cab driver to take me back to Seoul Foreign School (home) which I know in Korean and he started the meter again. "OH, NO", there goes my allowance for the week. I finally got a hold of Robert's friend E.C. (who is Korean). He explained to the man that he took me to the wrong place and I needed to be taken back to my original destination. He also asked the cab driver to give my money back. The cab driver was understanding. He gave me my money and brought me home. (I was in a car driving for at least 45 minutes). The nice Korean man said "sorry" about 10 times. As a result I had a free one hour tour of Seoul. All was well in the end, and I gave him 2,000 won for being so "sorry".
