Everyday I am back in America I see the difference in my "perspective" on life. I am simply amazed with my own thought process, in little and big situations. In general I have become a more patient person. For example, waiting in lines... Currently in America I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes in line. In Korea a 5 minute wait was "WOW FAST". My perspective on traffic has changed drastically. I experienced wait times to get into "E-Mart" (Korea's Walmart), over 45 minutes. In America I have never waited to get into a store. Waiting is one small way my perpective on life has changed. I spent one year far away from my familiar comfort zones. During my first months in Korea I had few comfort zones. The only local comforts I had in Korea were God, Robert (my husband), and my children.

A New Appreciation for "My Country Tis Of Thee"
Living abroad has broadened my perspective on life. Korea is a wonderful country, and I have enjoyed my first year. The experiences and people I have met have enlarged my faith in ways I never realized possible. I met Godly, Friendly, and heart warming Koreans.
