I don't remember,
The last time...
You hurt your knee and ask mommy to kiss your boo boo.
I held you on my hip.
You fell when learning to walk.
You tried to get in bed with mommy and daddy.
You needed help going down the slide.
I felt you hiccup within my womb.
You ate mashed carrots before getting teeth.
You reached for mommy when held in daddy's arms.
Everyday you grow. I try to remember! I never want to forget!
I desire to remember everything! I want to keep you close!
Everyday your one step closer to being an adult.
I will remember... Forever.
How you changed my world for the best.
Taught me to care for another, more than I care for my self.
The moment the doctors laid you on my bosom.
Seeing your unique personality within seconds of birth.
The softness of your baby skin.
The love I felt the moment our eyes met.
My amazement: The moment I knew of your existence.
The way you always made me smile.
How you always made me laugh.
No matter how hard the day... You always gave me a reason to live.
My boys changed my world for the best. Having children meant having less spending money, free time, and time alone. However, I would never change my life. My kids have given me much joy. Taught me what it means to put others before myself. Each day I dread the day they leave home and become adults. I fret about forgetting big moments. However, there are moments a mom never forgets. I love you Robby, Christopher, Daniel and baby #4. I cherish each day I have as your mom!!!
