Welcome To Crystal's Blog

It is my prayer that God will use my writings to bless you today. I write straight from the heart. I write as a venue to praise God, and grow as a woman. I am a woman saved by grace! I am married to the most amazing man, and I have been blessed with four beautiful children. God uses my family to teach me and subsequently increases my faith in Him. At times I write through tears of joy, and at times tears of sorrow. Join me as I honestly share my heart and give God praise for His love!

The Hands and Feet of Jesus

After Christmas I had to have a cholecystectomy ( a fancy word for gallbladder removal).  My gallbladder was causing severe pain, and needed to be removed.  The first week was pretty tough, as I recovered from the aftermath.  Although surgery is never easy, it was much easier with the help of wonderful friends.  Several good friends the Rice family and the Dawson's have been more than helpful throughout my recovery.  Always willing to be helpful and offer a helping hand.   My good friends the Guymon's helped the first couple of days.  What a blessing they were to our family.  Tessa Guymon, my 18 year old sister of the heart, unselfishly gave of her time to assist us with our 4 children.  What a joy it was to spend time with her (even though she heard a lot of funny stuff come out of my mouth, as I came off the pain meds).  To my family... My husband is such a devoted and loving partner, caring for me as the bride of Christ.  Thank you Robert, I love you!  A special thanks to my three boys' for their sensitive nurturing, and loving their mommy.  I love you, guys!  Your the best!  Last night while feeling pretty horrible, I sent my Bible study women an e-mail.  I ask for prayers for quick healing and pain relief.  Nausea, headaches, and pain were becoming bothersome and making my job as mom difficult.  Immediately I received an e-mail and several phone calls not only offering to pray, but to come to my family's aid.  I know the women began praying, because  I quickly began feeling world's better.  I am able to function without the miserable symptoms from the surgery.  I am not 100% but quickly achieving that goal.  I am surrounded by giving, loving, and Godly people.  To those of you who offered help in anyway, your giving spirits didn't go unnoticed.  I am blessed, indeed!

God uses us His followers, to be His hands and feet.  Not only does the giver receive joy from the act of giving, but the people in need are blessed indeed!  My deepest desire is to have the heart of Christ, and Christ is the giver of everything.  The closer I am to Him, the more of a giver I will become.  I want to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus!

Loving Heavenly Father,
I am honored to be called a daughter of the King.  I am honored to serve you wholeheartedly.   Lord, I have a heart to serve you!  I want to be close to you, I want to know your ways more intimately, and I want to please you.  Lord, I don't want to be recognized by my accomplishments, my Earthly possessions, or any present day accolades.  I only want to be recognized by you living in me.  Lord, teach me to be a giver!  Teach me to see the need's in the world around me!  People are hurting and the answer's are found only in you.  Use me Lord to heed your call(s) to love your people, to be a beacon in a dark land.  I want to have a heart more like yours.  A heart of humility who seeks to serve you and your people.  Lord, teach me to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Your Beloved Daughter,

Crystal
