Wow!!! What an experience... Moving abroad was more difficult than I could have imagined. Considering all of the little unexpected pop ups. Christopher began getting sick on Sunday night. I was up with him all night. His fever continue getting higher and he was continually vomiting. By morning he was dehydrated. The doctor's never found out for sure what he had, but we trusted the Lord.
We left Saturday afternoon as planned! Gretchen and Shelby took us to the airport. It was a sad and quick goodbye... We arrived in Chicago in the evening. The boys were tired and not behaving very well. However, we still had fun. The first night we ordered Giordano's pizza (yummy), and watched a movie "Horton Hears A Who". The next morning we woke up early and began our fun day in Chicago. The boys loved the Leggo store. They all spent hours playing, while mom shopped the mall. I of course love going to the Eddie Baur store. We ate lunch at Potbelly's sandwich shop (yummy), our Chicago favorite. We then went to Lincoln Park Zoo and a nearby playground. In the evening we went to a cool McDonald's!!! I know it is unhealthy but my children's faces light up when they see the "M" arch. The contentness on their faces makes me a happy mother... We walked along the lake --- Which Robby thought was an ocean. We went back to the hotel and began our preparations for our flight from Chicago to Seoul.
