First Letter to Baby # 4

This is a letter I wrote to our future little one.  I was still in shock, but immediately felt God's guidance in the positive result.  I wanted baby # 4 to know my immediate thoughts and feelings upon realizing I was pregnant.

Today we took a home pregnancy test and found out the good news that we are expecting you our 4th baby!  Wow!!!  We were shocked!  We weren't expecting to have anymore babies.  Here you are!  I don't know your sex, your name, or anything about you.  I've only known I was pregnant for 2 hours and I already can't wait to meet you!   God wanted you here little one, and although I am a bit overwhelmed, I am honored to be your mom.  Two short hours ago I had this feeling someone in our family was missing.  For several years my heart has felt an unexplained emptiness.  All of sudden my heart feel's complete.  In 9 months you will make your big appearance.   We already love you Little Bean!  We love God!  He is our life, and our focus in everything we do.  Today my prayers will change drastically.  I am already praying for your health in my womb, your safe arrival, and your future.  You have three wonderful brothers.  Just today Robby and Christopher came into the kitchen explaining their plan for us to have another baby.  They will love you, take care of you, protect you, and be SO surprised when we tell them mommy is having our 4th miracle baby!

Thank you God for the baby in my belly!  Thank you for your BIG surprises!  Protect this little one!  Give me wisdom as I take care of my body, so I can care for the gift within.
