One Day At A Time

Today while praying for direction.  I said, " God, I don't know what else to do!  I have tried everything I know."  The song One Day At A Time, came to me.  I remember my mother singing this song when I was a little girl.  I haven't thought about this song for years.  I know God placed this song in my heart to teach me to take "One day At A Time".

Mathew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.  Each day has enough trouble of its own."

I want to solve all of life's problems in one day.  Unresolved issue's upset me, and make it difficult for me to focus.  However, I am only human, I'm just a woman!  I can't change or fix anything.  I can however hand my troubles over to the Lord.  Hearing this song lead me to look up some verses to help me to take "one day at a time".

John 14:1"Let not your heart be troubled.  Believe in God; Believe also in me!"

1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your cares upon him, because he cares for you."

Philipian's 4:6 " Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Deuteronomy 20:1-3 "When you go out to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.  And when you draw near to the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people and shall say to them, ' Hear, O Israel, today you are drawing near for battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint.  Do not fear or panic or be in dread of them.

I can't do anything without God's strength.  I need His guidance!  I will sin, I will hurt other's, I will hurt God, and I will be unlovable.  I pray God will teach me daily.  Teach me to seek forgiveness when I sin against Him, and those I love!  Teach me to take, "One Day At A Time"!
