Welcome To Crystal's Blog

It is my prayer that God will use my writings to bless you today. I write straight from the heart. I write as a venue to praise God, and grow as a woman. I am a woman saved by grace! I am married to the most amazing man, and I have been blessed with four beautiful children. God uses my family to teach me and subsequently increases my faith in Him. At times I write through tears of joy, and at times tears of sorrow. Join me as I honestly share my heart and give God praise for His love!

How Can I Protect You?

She's fast, quick paced, and full of giggles;
Crawling, scooting, and zooming from room to room.
Baby girl you don't know the danger.
The danger that's all around.
The raisin in your mouth, retrieved from under the fridge.
Taste's good, but poses a threat to little girls.

How can I protect you?

You don't know the danger, mommy see's.
Everywhere I look there are threats.
I need to protect you, Pumpkin Noodle.
The stairs, sure look fun, but can hurt my wee tot.
The coffee table you love to climb on,
has left a forever scar on your big brother's eye.

How can I protect you?

You hit your head, pinch your fingers.
Eat anything and everything off of the floor.
You crawl under your brothers' feet.
Roaming under the kitchen table,
You discover many yummy goodies.
Too little to know, they are enriched with germs.

How can I protect you?

Following... chasing... Hurrying to your side.
Backache's from lifting you.
Tiredness from endless baby retrieval.
Exhaustion upon entering my bed.
I'll gladly bear.
In my effort to protect my princess.

How can I protect you?

Each day you will grow.
Every moment's destination... womanhood.
Today's fears are mild in comparison.
To the dynamite of the world.
Dried up raisins, household stairs, are just the beginning.
Nothing compared to what lies ahead.

How can I protect you?

Today I begin with a protective gate.
A barrier to everyday household hazards.
A simple wooden gate.
A hallway full of toys.
A smile from the kitchen,
To reassure you of my presence.

How can I protect you?

As time sweeps away your babyhood.
My attempt to protect you will endure.
Long after the baby gates' are put away.
I'll do my best to guard you from life's storms.
Each day praying for wisdom.
Continually praying protection over your sweet spirit.

How can I protect you?

Sweet little princess.
Always remember, I'm your momma,
My life's goal is...
To be your protector.
Your comforter.
And your dearest friend.

How can I protect you?

My presence will not always be present.
God is Omnipresent.
He'll never leave your side.
He'll carry you, when you can't carry on.
He'll comfort you when your heart is broken.
Never forget, God is your Savior.

He Will Protect You!

Beautiful writing I've found here. It's a powerful thought having God protect me. Coupled with the words, "He'll never leave your side" is such an awesome truth.
